Teddy birthday cake
The second May bank holiday weekend was my son's first birthday so I made him a special cake. It was a chocolate cake baked in a teddy shaped silicon mould decorated with chocolate and vanilla flavoured buttercreams. Everyone (including the birthday boy) enjoyed it so I'll certainly be making it again.

LUSH Cake
This cake was made for a party menu relaunch at a shop I work in part time. It is a basic Victoria sponge cake surrounded by twelve vanilla cupcakes. Previously I've always used water or buttercream icing to finish a cake but this was my first attempt at using ready to roll icing - think it turned out pretty well but I'll continue practising nonetheless.
